It did seem like every side item had meat, of some kind, in it. Usually a staple for BBQ joints but they just missed the mark. I have NEVER seen a pulled brisket but it is simply not good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the bourbon chicken, mac n cheese (1 time it wasn't fresh so we asked for a new one and they happily obliged).ĭO NOT RECOMMEND: the brisket. Look, we are in Ohio, folks - we aren't in the midst of southern BBQ country but this does give a good jab at southern style cooking homestyle kind of food. Post-Official Opening: service has caught up to the food and they serve alcohol. Pre-Official Opening: service was horrible and food was amazing and no alcohol license. Having been here 4 times, twice before the grand opening a couple weeks ago and twice since the "official opening." Local here and have heard every review about this place so let me put it to rest.
